Subsidy Schemes
The central government offers subsidies and financial assistance (CFA) for residential solar panel installations connected to the grid. The subsidy rates are as follows:

In addition to the central subsidy, the Uttar Pradesh government provides an additional subsidy for residential solar panel installations:
- State Government Subsidy: ₹15,000 per kW, up to a maximum of ₹30,000
- For Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) and Group Housing Societies (GHS), a CFA of ₹7,294 per kWp will be provided, with a maximum limit of 10 kWp.
- These incentives make solar energy an attractive and viable option for reducing electricity costs and promoting sustainable energy use in residential areas.
